Creating Community + Choosing Partnerships w/ April Herrera

April has been a client of mine since the beginning of 2020 and she is truly one of the hardest working individuals I know. She makes such a change in everything she is involved in: Lady Crush Crew, Petite Ascension, All in Beta, La Sportiva, and still rocks a 9 to 5 as a paralegal! She is based in San Francisco and started climbing at 23.

For the first year, there was a lot of pain and even a fear of heights, but she came in, crushed it and continues to overcome - even though it did take time to get comfortable and trust the system. She loved how climbing worked her body and gave her lots of confidence in herself. Being able to work with April one on one really gave her more strength to jump into the general community and other organizations.
